The Blayney MPS Redevelopment project is now in the design stage.
The new modern facility will improve health and aged care services for the people of Blayney and will be built on the existing hospital site.
The Blayney MPS Redevelopment project team has now commenced the next stage of project planning and design, exploring how arts can help deliver exciting, welcoming and dynamic spaces for residents, patients, carers, staff and the community. The development of an arts and health strategy for the new health service is the first stage of a long-term commitment to arts and health initiatives for the Blayney MPS Redevelopment.
Beautiful artistic spaces can also help with wayfinding and ensure indoor and outdoor spaces complement health service delivery.
The Arts Working Group (AWG) is responsible for advocating the successful integration of arts for wellbeing, inclusive of heritage elements, into the Blayney MPS Redevelopment project.
Expressions of interest are sought for representatives to join the AWG. Representatives working as part of the AWG will:
Successful applicants will initially be required to attend three meetings between June and August 2023 which will run for approximately 1.5 hours each in a volunteer capacity.
