The redevelopment of the Rylstone Multipurpose Service (MPS) site has been fast tracked with works progressing from planning to delivery with construction to begin shortly.
The redevelopment of the Rylstone MPS is an important achievement for Rylstone and the surrounding communities. Following recent community information sessions in August 2016, the Rylstone MPS has been fast tracked for delivery, being made possible with a number of tenders being sought simultaneously to get these important projects moving and operational for residents.
Zauner Constructions has been awarded the contract to carry out the main works construction.
Rylstone MPS redevelopment involves extensions and refurbishment to many areas of the MPS, and the addition of a new staff accommodation building. The scope will include new residential aged care rooms and dining area, refurbished acute rooms
and improvements to community health.
The Rylstone MPS project is part of a greater $300 million program of works to upgrade existing or build new MPS facilities in a number of rural and remote communities across NSW.
The MPS model tailors healthcare needs for the local community by integrating health, aged care services, and emergency services to provide flexible health service delivery – from primary health care to acute and residential aged care.
