The new MPS be built on the existing site on Osman Street, and will include zones for inpatient and other treatment areas, emergency, and enhanced residential aged care, as well as space for future expansion. The project team is working with staff, residents, patients, carers and community to develop the detailed plans. The project is currently in the design stage. Construction is expected to start in early 2024 and be completed in 2025. The project will bring high quality health and aged care services closer to home, in a modern facility which can continue to meet local health care needs for years to come.
